Thanks to you folks, I found the "Skip CQ Slot Selector" option and that took care of the issue.

This forum is such a great resource for beginners like myself to help educate us.

Modifying the frequency file worked fine. Unfortunately, when I call CQ on 14.110 as KJ7QQG instructs, the receive frequency shifts to another channel. Is there a setting to allow simplex in this mode.

I would like to support KJ7QQG and other Servers on 14.110Mhz. However, I don't know how to call CQ and connect to stations on that frequency. If the manual addresses that, I would appreciate being pointed to it. When I manually set 14.110, VARAC brings me back to a pre-defined frequency.
