I have a suggestion for a CAT control change for IC-7600. The default IC-7600 CAT file has the following line:
ModeUSB_D=FEFE7AE02600010101FD
The 01 highlited in the above line sets receive bandwidth to 2 Khz. If you manually switch the rig to 500 Hz bandwidth, it keep automatically chaning back to 2 Khz with every QSY or band change. Changing that 01 to a 02 will keep the receive bandwidth at 500 Hz. But you can still manually change it on the rig if you want. Replacing the above line with the line below will keep the receive bandwidth at 500 Hz.
ModeUSB_D=FEFE7AE02600010102FD
Thanks, K8BZ@arrl.net
Thanks for the good advise. Thanks for the most exciting digital protocol since Outpost PMM for AX.25 packet. 😊 73.
Added the options to the rig file
