The title says it all. I know I'm last in the class when it comes to computer literacy but I would not call the process exactly user-friendly. The only information I've been able to copy are call signs in both the "Last heard beacons" and the "Last heard CQ calls" windows on the upper right of the screen. I'm using the FT-891 for the rig. If you are using the same rig would appreciate knowing how you set things up and any tips you might have. Many Thanks, DAN, K3XR

To monitor channel traffic, the only way is to select 'Monitor' on the vara modem , then the text prints on the modem itself .. as long as the s/n matches the level monitored
Toggling between monitor/ standby rx , is the same as loading a different application , standby receiver monitors , beacons , cq's and connect calls , these use a special mfsk format, where as the main modem uses a combination of frames and formats

Good news making progress tonight. Long QSO on 20 meters with Luciano, IU6HWW. This is a fun keyboard-to-keyboard mode...Thanks
