Simple message storage and retrieve feature

@irad d I thought I'd posted a reply, but guess it didn't make it. Attached is a screen shot of the window. It's the "mail window" that I'd like to see made much larger, with the option for larger fonts too.

@irad d that's great, but raises more questions. Will the ntermediate station know there is a message for another station on his system ? Will he have to manually do the transfer, or will the third party mail be announced in beacon, so it can be picked up by the recipient?

@wd4kav Yes - the hosting side will know there are messages parked on his side. He will be able to block this and even delete them and of course read them. all in full transparency.

Forwarding happens once he is linked with the destination station no matter if he connected or were connected to. No forward retries will happen. no beaconing and no periodic connection attempts. Don't want to go that path.

@irad d glad to hear no retries, beacons, etc. I’ve been down that road years ago, ran a dual port packet bbs and gateway. I think the way you are going about this is great. Only other thing I can think of would for the mail to remain on the intermediate station till it received an ACK showing that it had been received after being picked up.by the recipient.
