Today 1/29/24, I am having a problem downloading software, never completes, any ideas why. No trouble with other software downloads.

I have an old TS-430S Kenwood, that still works great. I use a SignaLink USB and have worked various modes like WSJT-X and the two work well together. In trying to setup VarAC with the SignaLink USB I can't get the 430S to transmit. I am not using any transmtting keying mode except what the SignaLink sends to the 430's mic input, from its command from software I am using, in this case VarAC. In the PTT Configuation for VarAC what should I set it up as, since I use the SignaLink? I looked in the VarAC manual and read comments ( problems & corrections ) here from others using a SignaLink , but it does not address my problem. Again, any ideas why no keying from VarAC to 430S via SignaLink, as I said it works OK when using WSJT-X modes. Al l

I tuned to the varous VarAC frequencies on all bands, when the band is open, but never hear anything? Is there any group that does operate say a VarAC chat net, if so what frequency, time ( in ET ) and day. Al

Does the software automatically send reports out as to what you heard when monitoring. I ask because I noted on pskreporter.com my monitoring and I haven't really set up anything with VarAC. I haven't even gone on the air yet? Can this SEND mode be turned off and on? Al

should this mode be ON or OFF in Vara itself, the monitor mode. It seems that I only see beacons, CQ's when it is OFF, is that normal? If it is normal, why does it need to be off? What is causing beacons / CQ's not to be displayed if it is ON? Al

Where do I get the certificate ID when setting up CONNECT. And is there a special password or do I choose it. I haven't found anything sent to me since signing up, except for the verification code to post in forum. Al
