Every time there is a new version of VarAC I download it. Then I have to resetup my callsign and other info. Then all my pre made canned messages disappear. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is?

I am curious what people are using for a vhf fm rig? I do not want to spend a lot on a rig used just for Vara FM. I use to use Allinco vhf radios with the din plug on the rear. Is that usable with VARA FM and does anyone sell the cable for the back of the radio? Thanks Gerald KC6CNN

I am new to VarAC so the problem is probably me. lol. I hear all kinds of people sending stuff, but I can not get anything to show up in the heard list. I have almost all things at default setting except the rig control. On another note not sure how to contact the Vara HF people but the site will not let me upgrade to a paid version as a guest. Any suggestion on heard list or setting is greatly appreciated. Again sorry new to this. Gerald
