Norton, IMO is worst virus protection, anything else better, slows pc and flags wrong files. Windows defender just fine, and maybe Malwarebytes scan once in a while

makes sense, how about a suggested default qsy for file transfer ? say QSY +5 auto receive up, then auto receive down when received? a check box both have to have checked? the +5 up could be edited also, maybe sent to sending station when it gets a file sending request.

USB-D is correct setting for ts-890s - but works in both modes USB OR USB-D on my ts-890s when in doubt - always check if you have latest firmware, AND PGM VERSIONS VARA TOO.
