I'm having issues with band stack registers on my Yaesu FTDX10. When VarAC starts up it sends the last user frequency to the rig. It would be nice if the didn't set frequency when the rig is already on a different band or mode.
There are three band stack registers for each band. I set them to digital, CW, and SSB. If third party software changes the frequency it overwrites my personal setup.
This isn't a bug but an annoyance for me. If my rig isn't set to the band stack register last used by VarAC, my band stack get inadvertently changed.
Are there any workarounds for this behavior? Perhaps a code change?

2 options for you :
1. Look for this parameter in the VarAC.ini file and change to OFF :
LastFrequencyLoadUponStartup=ON2. You can set your preferred settings in the CAT control file you know your RIG cat commands so every time the frequency is changed, it will also set those peripheral settings you like (Like pre-selecting filters, notch, NB/NR etc)
