Image transfert

Hello,

I am looking for help to know how to use the image transfer, I find no explanation, except the screenshot you put where it seems to use "image compressor".

Do you need to download a new software or this is incorporated into the new version 7.30.

Is there a manual or a video explanation.

It would certainly be wonderful if you could compose and save your image file offline. I am anxious to try this but hate to tie up good airtime composing an image.

After connecting, and choosing a slot (or custom freq) select "send file". At that point, you'll see a folder with your files and pictures (the path has to be set in the "rig control and configurations" screen in "Settings".

Select the picture or file you want to send, then adjust the sliders for resolution and quality, while also watching the resulting file size, to get the best compromise for file size and quality. On HF, smaller is better, unless you have a REALLY GOOD path.

apparently I can not activate the "Send File" button because it is greyed out, not active.

I usually use image software such as YONIQ (EA1IMW) or MMSSTV (JE3HHT), EASYPAL (Vk4AES), SIMPLE IMAGE CONTROLLER (JQ1HDR), KG-STV (JJ0OBZ) and finally EZ-PIX (W3WVG) that is compatible withe EASYSIMPLE and VARIFRONT.

This is the first time that I can not start in image, maybe it is necessary to have the license,

I do not know because I do not find any information or special help for this new integration, maybe it is too early, we must wait.

These instructions work after image is saved to disk. The SEND COMPRESSED button on the image shrinker did not work in ver 8.0.6, when I tested it. My path in Settings is for Outgoing Files: C:\Users\billn\Pictures. Unless it can be fixed, The SEND COMPRESSED button should be removed, unless I'm missing something. It's not really needed.
