Auto Log4OM callsign lookup

Hi everyone.

I installed (and tested) the new VarAC version last night and since I am a fond user of LOG4OM, I was happy to learn the functionality of querying the latter by VarAC when connecting to a station... .but for me, this feature doesn't work.

Here are some screens that I hope are useful and clear enough.

as you can see, when VarAC is called addressed to LOG4OM, nothing happens.

Maybe I'm the one who did something wrong. Thanks to anyone who can provide me with some useful information.

Also, when you right click on a decoded CQ or Beacon Callsign do you get an option for "Log4OM Lookup"? And what happens when you do that? Log4OM does need to be already opened.

Hi Gary.

Stop...the problem was the version of log4om that I had been using for a long time. I uninstalled it and deleted all the files from the registry.....then I downloaded the latest version and with great patience, I reconfigured everything I needed...final result? It works perfectly as it does for you.

OK good deal. I know some hams get annoyed when we ask for screenshots but it does really help. Sometimes a new set of eyes on it will pop the issue right out.

I have been using the Log4OM integration for a few weeks now and has been working great. Attached are my settings but they look like yours. The only thing I see is your Log4OM settings do not look like mine, I am using ver 2.32.1.0 of Log4OM.

I assume you have rebooted both programs?
