Version 3 introduces support for VARA-FM, which is fantastic. The screen than allows us to choose between FM and HF modes doesn't account for the fact that FM and HF are different executables with different paths. I shouldn't have to enter a path when changing modes.

I'd like to receive an audio alert when certain calls either beacon or call CQ. This will allow me (a much better chance) to chat with Irad when conditions allow. This can be similar to the feature in Laurie's JTAlert for WSJT-X.

Holding a long conversation on a watering hole frequencies (14.105, etc) prevents other users on that special frequency. Perhaps setting a timer (5 minutes) at the start of the conversation and popping dialog with the timer expires suggesting to change frequency +/- .750 MHz (per Gary's Nov 12th request). I'm not sure automatic QSY is a good thing, though.

Hi All, Is there an agreed-upon set of frequencies for other bands? I know we're free (within our band plans) to pick our own frequencies, but just consider how powerful the drop-down list is in WSJT-X! Cheers, Bob

Nor 5, nor 10. 15 and 60 work I also have to disable beaconing, then change the period and save, then restart to get the new period to take effect. Perhaps this should be a separate bug report?

As hams, we are responsible for all content transmitted. We can see what our "Call CQ" button transmits, but not the beacon.
