We do have automated "hello"-messages for when we are there.
To me it would be desirable to have an automated message for when we are not there.
It could be used to tell people that you are really really away (no one seems to read the popup)
or it could be used to give instructions for relaying, or when op will be back on station
i can dream up plenty of rather useful things i could pack into the away message.
it probably should come after <AWQ> and succsessful auto-qsy.

In VarAC - HF discussion forum
i see no valid calls in the to line, sometimes i dont see valid sender call - and always i see garbage in the message.
Am i the only one whom sees this on rx side?
and, should we even be doing this this?
