Ok, I will try and do that. I checked the VARA.ini file and the registration code is in there. All looks good from what I have been able to find info about this issue. The VARAC works fine in FM mode, I just have an issue with the digipeat function in the modem for some reason not recognizing the registration. This is a fantastic EMComm tool, thank you so much for the development of a great program. Love it! Dean N4TYS

Hi Mark - I had same problem here -- I have an ICOM 706MKII. I finally got Omni to work, you have to go to the app and start it up, I go to the task manager and look to see it is running, when you say rig control, does PTT work and freq control work in other modes? You have to set up VARAC to OmniRig. I got HF working, CAT freq & transmit, but on FM, I have CAT freq working, but can't get the PTT to work. It lights up the PTT light on my signalink, but radio PTT does not light or put power out. I'm lost on why it works on HF but not FM 100%. If you are working ok in WSJT, then settings in VARA might be your issue. de Dean N4TYS

OK, got the Icom 706MkII working rig control with VARAC HF using the OmniRig. Trying to setup the VARAC FM, however the OmniRig is not letting rig transmit - has rcv audio.

Have not been able to get Omni Rig or FLRig to work. HRD is working with WSJT for CAT control. I have not found a happy setting in VARAC, OmniRig or FLRig, however/
