Thank you for the quick replies. I am using v3.6.6 and got the PTT & Frequency controls to save & Exit with out error. The success had to do with the sequence of configuration. After reinstalling v3.6.6 I entered my call sign, went to settings, configured the rig control & VARA configs, canned messages, saved & exited. Then clicked on CONNECT MODEM. The failure I had previously experienced was connecting to the modem right after entering my call sign, then going to settings to configure the rig ctrl & VARA configs. Hope this seems clear, but all is good now.
