Hi All, I've just updated to VARAC 8.6.2 also updated the VARA modem as well. Does anybody know how to fix it?

All, Is there a command that can be added to the VarAC.ini file to delay data transmission for a few milliseconds after the 'PTT on' CAT command is sent to the rig. Everything is fine on my IC7610 but on the FTDX101MP I think I am seeing unstable data at the start of some transmissions. The TX/RX relay switching seems very slow on the FTDX101MP and because of this I'd like to delay the data acatually being sent for a short time to see if that makes a difference. 73 de G8PFR

I have now worked out that the term AntennaTuner= is the correct file entry, not Tuner= as the hep text says when clicking on the ? in the settings tab. Having aded AntennaTuner=AC002; to the cat ini file. The tuner now works for for the FTDX101MP. Note I did not add AC001 first as my antenna tuner is always switched on. It could be you have to send that command first to turn the tuner on.

I have created a Tune= command in the FTDX-101 rig section of the VarAC_Cat_Commands.ini file. I have entered Tune=AC002 to see what that does. However, having created the entry and saved the file back to the correct folder, the Tune box in the VarAC setting tab is still not enabled. It is greyed out still. Any ideas?

Hi, Not sure if anybody has done this before but I'm giving a short presentation to my radio club about VarAC. I cannot do a live use presentation for a lot of technical reasons so I'm going to use good old PP. I wonder if anybody has any basis slideware to save me re-inventing the wheel?

Hi, I was testing receiving a file wiht another user. I got the accept file message. I clicked on yes. At that point VARac goes into permanent TX and also locks up. I can still click on various parts of the window for VARA but not VARac. I have to close VARA which then closes the locked up VARac. If I send a file to the other party, it works fine. Has anybody experienced this? Any ideas on what the problem might be? Rig, IC7610. PWR set to 10W. PC, Windows 11. Using CAT direct via COM5 to the USB of the radio, no Omnirig. Everything else seems to work fine incuding sending VMAILS. Only when I click on "accept incoming file" with a "yes" does this issue arise. Seems very odd and I have no idea how to track down the issue. Help/ideas needed please. de G8PFR Mike
