Hi Gary If the G90 transmits with the CAT cable disconnected, then it may be the same problem I had. I’m using a Digimode 3 soundcard interface which uses the left audio channel to also key the rig. I disabled the left channel and now it works fine. Best Regards Mike G0IKR

Hi Irad Solution found in October 2022 forum post "G90 sometimes doesn't release PTT". I've muted the left audio channel and now it's working great. I'm sorry for not spotting that post earlier. Thank you for your help. Mike

Hi Irad I did in option 2 above :-) FT8. FT4, SSTV etc. all work fine so don't think it's RF. I will add another ferrite ring to the CAT cable to try.

So far, I have tried: 1.     Omnirig 1.2 using Rig Type IC756-pro (used for all other digital modes) - remains keyed after transmit 2.     Omnirig 1.2 using Rig Type IC756-pro with minimum power - remains keyed 3.     Omnirig 1.2 using Rig Type G900.2c - key is released however frequency change not working 4.     Direct CAT Xiegu G90 - key is released however frequency change not working 5.     FLRIG using Rig Xiegu-G90 - remains keyed It’s really strange because it worked perfectly in the past using Omnirig! Hi Irad My Xiegu G90 also stays keyed after transmit (90% of the time). Other digital modes are working OK. Did you find anything in Kevin's log and settings. I can send mine if you wish? 73s Mike
