Hello. Updated my VarAC today to version 6.33. It seems that there is a slot system going on eg. my rig goes listening on the predefined slot. Quite a nice idea. I however hear an annoying click from my desktop computer's built-in speaker which I don't like at all. This takes place when checking if the slot is free. How to get rid of that BIG CLUNK sound? Hi, What would be a good calling frquency on 30 meters? 10.143 has a beacon/telemetry station running in the middle of passband and using that frequency would violate ham radio regulations. We can't interfere for purpose. I have no idea where the transmitter is located but it seems to be running 24/7. Does anyone have a better suggestion? kai oh3we

My opponent eg. the station I was connected to didn't give his locator. So I am not able to complete the log which nags: locator missing.

Initially my ICOM IC-7300 will set itself in narrow mode. It is a minor issue but still quite annoying to press radio's interface when starting it up. It seems to use FILTER2 as default. Kai

Hi all. Made my first VarAC contact today. It went quite OK except that I had to change my keyboard in W10 several times back to Finnish one. Somehow the program wants to change it to ENG. 72 and let's chat on bands. Kai, OH3WE
