It seems like this DX Cluster has a rate limit - you cant report too often from the same callsign/IP. I tested it also and noticed. if you wait, try to report again without doing a test before and for me it worked fine

Hi Demetre. you can set a specific SCALE of 100% only to VarAC. depend on your Windows version. Here is how: Option 1: Using Windows “Override High DPI Scaling”1. Right-click the app’s shortcut or .exe → Properties. 2. Go to Compatibility tab. 3. Click Change high DPI settings. 4. Check Override high DPI scaling behavior. 5. In the dropdown below, choose Application. * This makes the app ignore the system scaling (125%) and render at 100%. 6. Click OK and Apply, then restart the app. Option 2: Per-App DPI in Windows 11Windows 11 allows some per-monitor/per-app scaling natively: 1. Open Settings → System → Display. 2. Scroll to Scale & layout → Advanced scaling settings (or similar depending on version). 3. Some apps appear under “Fix scaling for apps.” You can try manually set scaling for specific apps, though it’s limited.

Hi Gene Com ports in PCs can be used by a single entity only. So only one instance can have access to it. I still dont have a mechanism to share GPS data among cluster but that it a good idea that I will add to the todo list. Hello Andy I would need to see some more of that log file... Please paste a clean start of VarAC log entries (from VarAC.log) and show some of the error messages you get. I want to see exactly the chain of events before this. Than - enable the Debug mode (under settings -> MISC -> Debug) and do it again so I will have some more data entries to examin. Enabling Debug mode will show the data in those KISS packets in the log. please do so and paste the data. It starts with "KISS CQ Data: Slot:....." also for beacons it will say CQ - its ok. paste those here

the second is not necessary. it says "optional" on the settings. you can disable it.

VarAC only source of beacons is the VARA modem. no database / phantom data transfer. if there is a leak of RF / Audio between the modems, VarAC will hear itself. It has no way to know if it is indeed other node or someone pretending to be you or another station you run remotly. Therefore I will not filter it. on the contrary - it allowed you to notice you have an leak issue. 73s.

This bug is fixed in the next version 12.2. stay tuned.

I got a new version with some fixes. send me an email and I'll reply back with it. and if it persist again we will take it from there. please note - do not use shared network drive for the VArAC.db file. this cause locks.

Hello OM. your logs indicate that your VarAC database is not complete. Please run the Tools -> Database fixed -> check database, and share the output here for our inspection. This may cause the issue.

Check your port settings with the modems... seems like both VarAC instances are capturing KISS data from the same VARA modem. the input about only with locator and broadcasts indicates it is a KISS traffic and not standard (As advanced beacons and broadcasts are using the modem KISS interface. As the time stamps are not identical - it is clearly 2 difference VarAC writing the same data. There is no data sharing between the instances so the only explanation is that they are getting the same traffic someone from the same modem , possible through a PORT splitter allowing them to listen to the same port. Bottom line - please check your port numbers on the modems.
