That is strange, Irad since I downloaded VarAC just two days ago on the 29. December 2021 from this page, and the current version at that time (2 days ago) has been 2.7.2 without that third PTT-option (VOX). What happened? See image below: Thanks for updating your download link ;-) Cheers Rolf

By audio cables. It is the SL1+ model from Tigertronics. Thus, audio coming from the soundcard is the trigger for the signalink to pull the PTT of the rig - hence - VOX PTT. This is a way - if not THE way to enable & include all rigs that do not have USB CAT control to the universe of digi modes.

I have a rig which does not have a USB port. My Signalink does not have an USB port either. So, what is your recommendation to all the non-USB folks, as they can not PTT their rig via USB but just by VOX?

VarAC is asking for a PTT option. There are only two mandatory options: PTT over CAT (USB). and PTT over OmniRig (also USB). No other PTT option available, neither 'None' is not available. That's where the VOX PTT would (and should) kick-in IMHO.
