Hi Irad the change is almost perfect but if I reply to a cq the frequency is changed to the correct slot and instantly tries to reply but of course the TX is disable for the preset time. I can then manually connect to the station. Perhaps the preset delay could automatically delay the attempted connect on answering a CQ call if the frequency was changed. Daniel

A magnetic loop is an extremely High Q antenna a loop broken with a variable capacitor in the break (Gap). The value of the Capacitor brings the loop into a very narrow bandwidth resonance outside of resonance the loop is a short to RF. The loop tuning unit sends a small internally generated amount of RF to the coupling match in this case a gamma match via CI-V. An algorithm is then used used vary this rf frequency either side of the tuned frequency while measuring resonance while varying the value of the variable capacitor until resonance is achieved. Hi Irad, Would it be possible to add a optional PTT delay after a frequency change ? As although CI-V works great with inbuilt radio tuner. I have different issue. I use a Ciro Mazzoni Baby loop the Loop tuner receives frequency data via CI-V from the radio and it then initiates a tuning cycle if the frequency has changed beyond the very tight bandwidth of the magnetic loop. This process invariably takes 3-4 seconds. if transmit is initiated during this cycle it can cause damage to the very expensive Loop tuner and potentially the radio. Since the great idea of slots this has become a issue unless I manually operate noting the slot number qsy and then tx once tuning has completed.
