Setting M-45 to 0.000 worked. On WinLink Express/VARA HF i was able to connect with stations and send email messages with both 500 and 2300 bandpass. I had about 5 successful connections but quite a few failure to connects, I will continue to test and see how it goes. Attached are three screen shots of a successful connection. I was also able to get a Beacon sent out on VarAC but as I don't know how to do CQs yet I must pursue this further. Thanks for the help! 73s, Chuckben99 (k8ceb)

This is the second batch (8) of screen shots showing my same non-connect issue on WinLink Express/VARA HF. The last shot is an attempt to connect with a station. It is set for 10 tries. The CAT freq control and PTT work correctly. I get the correct freq on the FT-920s display and it changes bands correctly. I have tried 40m & 40M. The TUNE seems to work correctly. I get the correct power out using the FT-920s power meter. I can hear the 1 KHz on the FT-920. I will get some screen shots and post them later today.
