Hi @irad d, in order to have more canned message without requesting change the program layout, I tried to edit de VarAC.ini, but the program ignore the new canned lines. Any suggestion? Most of us were affected by the Fldigi macros syndrome, 😁😅.

Hi @irad d, mainly I use it on simplex 2m with a group of friends (Vara Chat). If they are locate less than 20miles we use Vara FM, but if is longer than that we change to Vara HF. But Vara Chat has too many limitations, specially if you want to now how many station are on frequency. For example, with more pre-configured messages you can run a net in simplex with VarAC.

Most of the time I have both open, Winlink+Vara HF and VarAC+Vara FM. So you know what happens when I close VarAC, it close the vara on winlink. In the same way that I insert the exe adrress, this info can be use to close the proper program? No rush on this issue, there are more pressing matters.

I set the second instance of VarAC v.2.7.2 for Vara FM. On startup it open the Vara FM but when it close Vara FM remains open. Do I need to create some special scrip for that?

I vote for that too... it will make it also useful for Emcomm. 😁👍🏼

Thanks for your prompt response. It my fault... I didn't notice that I wasn't using the lates version of Vara HF or Vara FM. It is working now without CAT control.

First, I want to express my gratitude for this amazing software. As the owner, like many others, of a not-so-fancy radio, I kindly request a PTT VOX option. For those of us who use Signalink, Digimode-3, etc. it will be a much appreciated option. Thanks!!!
