And the freq does get reported out of the CAT back to the computer OK because it works in WSJT-X

the freq does show in the software and when I use the software to change freq, it works fine. I don't think I ever spun the dial before....

Even with the "read freq every 2 seconds" box checked, when I spin the VFO dial, the dial freq is NOT shown in the software???

I have checked the "read every (2) seconds" box now

QSY from the main screen was working ok but the test failed. Now the Test no longer gives an error.

I selected COM1 anyway and it works.

This seems to address "parking". Earlier today, I had an incoming connection, and then the station proceeded to use me as relay. I guess he "parked" the message on my system. I'm not sure how the message would have been forwarded. Would I have to initiate the transfer? Would my system look out for the intended recipient and then establish a connection to relay the message? This might be what some folks would like to do but I don't. Is there a "real time" vmail relay vs parking?

thanks for your reply. I hope you consider this a feature request. i don't want to shut off all sound effects but the loud "THUNK" sounds like DC is being applied to my speakers. I don't prefer it and think it could actually damage the amplifier and speakers.
