VarAC - HF discussion forum

Have set up VarAC on my Hermes Lite 2 and can receive OK but have not yet tried a QSO and would like help on my filter settings. There are two places to set filters for DigU and I am a little confused. I have added screenshots of the Offsets and also as an example the settings for a 600Hz filter. I think they are the default settings but would appreciate any help in getting them optimised. Also when I set the ALC to 30% I have no output power. Unless I set the ALC at 0db I do not get the full power out (5W)
