I am having problems with the 857d talking to digirig its on the right comport and it receives but will not key the radio to transmit the computer is a dell Inspiration 3650 any help will be appreciate

Have you setup PTT over RTS or via CAT? DIGIrig cannot do both and usually the default is to do PTT via CAT. A screenshot of your VarAC Settings page would help us understand your problem a bit more.
