Help Please!
I want to use VARAC but my technical knowledge isn’t that good.
I have a Yeasu FT857d, SCU17 interface into the radio data port and a MAT Y200 tuner into the CAT / LINEAR port on the radio.
I therefore cannot use CAT control because the port is taken up with my tuner.
What do I require to set up VARAC please,is it FLRIG?
If so can someone advise me of the settings I need to get up and running please.

Thanks for your reply again and sorry to be a nuisance.
If I set up as shown with the CT62 cable for CAT, I cannot use my auto tuner which plugs into the CAT port on my 857D.
It all would work ok without the tuner but I need to be able to tune my antenna when changing bands.
It would seem I can’t have CAT control and use the type of tuner that I have.
I hope this makes more sense.
