Successfully turned my station into an email gateway (still taking aspirin lol). If I want to send an email for Wednesday check-in is there a way to just send it through my station or do we need to connect to another station for this to work?
When I connect to another station to send email should I be the one to initiate a QSY or does the connected gateway station initiate a QSY request? Seems I've seen it happen both ways. If checking the "I'm away checkbox" and I'm the email gateway does the connecting station send a QSY request and then my gateway station automatically changes frequency?

To send an email Vmail you must connect to a Gateway station. That can be you connecting to them, or them connecting to you. Either side can initiate the QSY Just like VMail.
