VarAC 11.2.0 and Win 11 update KB5058411

After the last Windows 11 update (KB5058411), my current VarAC installation froze after start.

I had to restore the system from a backup.

Now I'm missing all security updates, I've stopped Windows Updates to avoid a recurrence.

It's not just me, other OMs are experiencing this.

Is there a workaround or a developer's comment?

I can't find anything relevant; I might be looking in the wrong place. +++73+++

Gentleman - try to see if you hanging you have an error on the windows event-viewer. this might help us understand what is triggering this. Obviously Microsoft has broken something and if I know what I may be able to work around it.

Let me know if you figure anything out about this. I have a Winform .Net application called TTS Voice Wizard on Github where users are reporting the same issue after the Windows KB5058499 Update. Application will "Hang" upon launch and they will see that the app as "Not Responding". The current work around is to uninstall the most recent update which is usually KB5058499 for most users. Microsoft really has broken something. I've tried changing the targeted framework for my app from .NET 6.0 to 8.0 however this has no effect. I have 1 PC that is on Update KB5058499 and doesn't have issues and another on on the Update that does experience the application Hanging so I'm trying to play spot the difference right now to figure out what's happening 💀. I've not been able to find any useful information in event viewer. This forum is the only location I've found mentioning the same issue. I'll follow this post and the other one "VarAC not responding all of a sudden" mentioning the issue. If I figure out anything I'll let you know as well. 🫡
