Will it be possible to use varAC with vara FM in the future as the beaconing facility would be a great way to check propagation paths at 2m vhf.

Good news. Works with VaraFM... its a preliminary test... need a few tweaks - but connecting to another VarAC station using VARAFM works perfect ! all features works. Just need to take care of CQ/BEACON (easy fix)
I can fix the CQ/Beacon easily. I am interested in setting a connection and chatting. can you test it with someone ?
Hi Irad, I did try running varAC with varaFM again but the software didn’t like it. It said it was sending beacons or calling CQ but nothing happened.
It did however attempt a connect.
I don’t think it‘s going to work.
I sent you an email as I had trouble accessing the forum. It worked after I rebooted my iPhone!

Well - Vara FM is not on my priority at the moment but I totally understand the value of it. But there is a good chance it works out of the box. If you have a VaraFM setup and you have a friend with a similar setup - you can try using VarAC. this will be interesting for me to know. I will be happy to hear about this test if you do it.
