    Changing frequency does not update slot indicator

    in VarAC discussion forum

    Hi,


    When changing the frequency with the left/right arrows in the top left the slot indicator does not change accordingly. It will remain on the slot number chosen when doing the CQ call.


    Also it would be nice to have the slot number as a pull-down just like the frequency selection so that it is possible to jump to a slot directly without skipping over all slots using the left/right arrows.

    This is an expected behavior.

    A calling frequency is a relative thing. not fixed. you can determine that you start a calling freq with your friends on 14.100.00 and slots are 750hz relative to that.

    If you want to move around the band using the < > arrows, you are free to do so and it has nothing to do with slots.


    BUT next version will introduce a SLOT sniffer which will allow you to move around slots with clear indication + it changes the the slot indicator.


    I will add clear indicaton for the < > buttons to make sure people are aligned with how ithe system works.
