I'm sorry. unable to reproduce.
If this is consistent then please:
Send me a VarAC.log of a moment where it happens. there is an indication for when I turn the away on/off
Send me the VarAC_traffic.log so I can see your away message going out while the away of off.
This will help me to analyze.
