Not sure what happened here, but I had collected a list of 8 or 9 beacons, and then saw one get added, and next, the list immediately disappeared. All that was left was a time stamp.
Sorry, I didn't mean that it was deleted after I changed frequency. It was deleted before the frequency change, and I didn't copy any traffic on the new frequency, hence nothing to display in the beacon list.
I don't know how I could simulate it. I really can't offer any more info, as the whole thing took me by surprise. I was just sitting staring absent mindedly at the screen, and heard some VARA tones. I glanced at the two "lists" and saw the beacon list evaporate after a beacon had started to display, and then ZAP, nothing but the time stamp. Wish I could be more help, Irad.
Hi @wd4kav.
I can't reproduce it and I don't have enough details.
Please update this bug with screenshot if it happens again.
I did not receive any input from other hams as well regarding this so sadly I have no way to continue with investigation.
I am currently archiving this but I'll keep it open for you to update with information if it ever occurs again.
Thank you for reporting !
Irad
Changing a freq should not delete it... but thanks for the tip. I'll use it to simulate things.
Just to make sure I fully understand what you saw - the timestamps were there. just the callsigns were not.
Something like
12:33:12 -
12:34:44 -
14:22:11 -
.
.
Like this ?
Ill dig in
No problem. If it ever happen again please take a Screenshot and attach here.
i KNEW I should have noted the time (I didn't, sorry). I don't remember now.
And can you tell when it happened (time) ? I have a hunch.
Thanks for reporting. Indeed weird. Is there a way you can simulate it ? Do you have clue about what happened ?
